The switch

I've done it, at the same time being a mean jerk to Microsoft, i've switched from XP to Vista. I was actually working on triple booting with XP, Vista and Ubuntu. Ubuntu and XP was a success but Vista and XP had problems due to partitioning i think, it keeps giving me ridiculous error. After deep thoughts, well, only for a minute or two, i decided to wipe of dear XP who had served me for the past 6 years. You have been a great companion, from crashing when i'm playing games, treating me with the occational blue screen of death, and also freeze up when i'm on an adult site.

GoodBye XP

I salute Windows XP.

In the mean time, i'm enjoying Vista very much. Firstly, security is beefed up. And for all the times i've been saying Vista sucks, initially it does, you gotta use it for yourself to comment whether it's good or bad. I find it awesome, it looks great, works great, functionable, easily configured, maybe not for all people, definitely worth the upgrade.

Not forgetting Ubuntu, awesome effects, i just love the effects, from the desktop cube to the animation. Very good for torrenting, as i'm using it to now. On deluge, as deluge is developed based on Linux. It boots fast and it's best for surfin web and doing online work. Thus, my PC has two identities now, day it's vista and by midnight, it's ubuntu. For torrenting. Haha.

Before all that, i've upgraded my PC by adding a additional 320GB Hard Drive, which enables me to dual boot. And i also fixed in my Tracer Ballistix which just came back from RMA not long ago. I had to clean up the fans and rearrange the cable. It's been a while since i've clean it up.

Just Love The Way it Lights Up!

My PC.

And now, my PC has bling bling in it ! It's rep restored. Lol.
It's not a beast but it serves me well.

I left Jazz blank for 25marks. I am so lucky to get a B+ in music. Lol.

Talking about music, there's a band i would like to introduce to the world, if not know already. It's our own local group Hujan. I've grown to love their songs, first single heard from them was Aku Scandal, very unique and fresh. They have been here for quite a while. Just like the likes of Meet Uncle Hussien and Estranged.

From their MySpace
Formed in early 2006, this wave-worthy band consists of Noh on vocals and 2nd guitar, Dimas on bass, A.G on 1st guitar and Acer on drums. Influenced by a diverse range of bands which include the likes of The Strokes, Butterfingers, and even Pot Amir Radiostaq, Hujan prefers to classify their music as alternative rock and has no qualms about delivering their material in Malay. Living and breathing the element they take their name after, their music alternates between the light, heavy and the torrential storm a reflection of the many stories, moods and agendas embedded in their songs. They sing about everything from love, God, family and to the happenings of the world.

I love the single pagi yang gelap. They are coming out with a new album soon. For more info, please visit their myspace site. http://www.myspace.com/kugiranhujan. They are definitely buzzworthy, one of my favourite local bands!

It's late now, been kinda busy, having replacement classes as Lecturer took leave for two weeks, makes us far far behind, and taking up all our time. Sadness.

Well, a picture to end this entry.

Taken With Canon A580, outside my place.

The sky's a magical place.

until then.
